Application of vine copulas to estimate dew point temperature

In this study, the accuracy of copula-based model in simulation dew point temperature various climates Iran was investigated, using simulations based on vine copulas such as C-, D-, and R-vine copulas. By examining their tree sequences, best copula sequence AIC, BIC, log-likelihood were selected. The results show that complete similarity our case between D- copulas, selected C-vine fit well dependence minimum maximum air temperatures temperature. analyzed root mean square error (RMSE), Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency (NSE) coefficient, violin plots. has high at all stations. min (max) RMSE is related to Kerman (Ahvaz) station with = 0.396 oC (0.617 oC). Also, NSE Ahvaz (Urmia) 0.925 (0.955). according plot, it possible appreciate acceptable certainty model.
